So, we have been testing Windows 10 and have come across an infuriating problem. If you are using a Microsoft account to login to your Windows 10 machine you may want to add a PIN so that you do not have to keep typing in a long password.
In Windows 8.1 this worked perfectly so thought we would add this feature in Windows 10. As soon as we did this we lost the ability to network print or get to any shared network locations.
Having started the usual process of Googling for a solution, we found that this issue has been with Windows 10 since the early testing days yet Microsoft have still released Windows 10 with this issue.
The only way that we have found to get around this so far is to remove the PIN and go back to the old fashioned way of logging in – with a password!
We have reported this to Microsoft as have a number of other people but if anyone comes up with a solution to this issue we would love to hear from you!
