After the success of our Autodesk serial collection and reporting blog post nearly a year ago now, we have had many requests to update the scripts to include the latest versions of Autodesk products and also include a wider range of Autodesk products like Revit.

If you are new to this, it would be worth taking a look at the original blog post which gives you a step by step guide on how to set this up:

I am now very pleased to announce the release of version 3.0 of the Configuration Item (CI) code and a new report.

We have updated the CI collection script to cover the following:

  • AutoCAD up to 2015
  • AutoCAD LT up to 2015
  • 3ds Max up to 2015
  • AutoCAD Architecture up to 2015
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D up to 2015
  • AutoCAD Electrical up to 2015
  • AutoCAD Map 3D up to 2015
  • AutoCAD Mechanical up to 2015
  • AutoCAD Plant 3D up to 2015
  • Inventor up to 2015
  • Revit up to 2015

The new report is now a little more streamlined and will not report NULL values. Also it will tell you if the installation is a Standalone or Network version (boxed or subscription).
