Notepad++ v8.5.0 update has been released and we have today created the Notepad++ MSI installer for this version and added it ready for download.
Please note that this is the x64 version, we do not currently have the x86 available.
This MSI installer gives you the method to easily deploy using systems like Group Policy, MDT or Configuration Manager.

If you want to install this MSI silently, then you can use the following msiexec command:
msiexec.exe /i "notepad.msi" /q /norestart
- /i – install (you can use /x to uninstall
- “notepad.msi” – filename of the MSI
- /q – silent installation
- /norestart – will not restart the end users computer automatically

How do I Install Notepad?
Just download the file, unzip it, and run the setup.exe file. Step through the installation wizard and with a few clicks, you have it installed.
How do I Install Notepad++ silently?
The installer is an MSI file so you can run the standard MSI queries, like /q or /qb+!
