When I started TechyGeeksHome back in 2010, it was for my own reference when finding out fixes and methods to support my “day job” as an IT Professional. I used Google’s Blogger for no particular reason other than it popping up first on Google’s search results.

Eventually moving to WordPress as the site got bigger and then also started coding some custom made utilities. I made the mistake of having the site on a subdomain with the vision of doing something great with the root domain, but it never happened, so I always planned to move the blog over to the root domain. Again, life gets in the way and I never got time to getting around to it.

However, I finally sorted it all out and now our site is in the root domain of techygeekshome.info so please remember to update any links you may have to our site.
