Upcoming 5G Supported Smartphones

5G tech is becoming the next big thing of the current technological age. 5G which was something a total myth is now becoming a reality and different carriers are still in the process of upgrading their networks. They will soon be ready for a full-scale launch of consumer-ready 5G services. There is also a possibility that many of these phones are not going to be available in a little while. So phone manufacturers haven’t taken any chances to announce that 5g devices/phones are out. Many tech giants including Huawei, Samsung, LG, ZTE and Xiaomi introduced their 5G handsets that will be available soon. However, Sony. Oneplus and Oppo had many device prototypes on display at many tech exhibitions and other events. Here are a few 5G phones that will be available soon

Xiaomi MI Mix 3:

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is one of the phones that is part of the trends that we are already seeing prevail in the communication industry. Here the phone has taken a leap beyond the existing handset model and created a 5G variant of the phone. The original non-5G version of the phone got announced in 2018 in October and featured a full-screen 6.4-inch OLED display. Also, at the back, the phone slides upwards and has a front-facing camera. Apart from being a 5G phone, the phone also has an upgraded processor which is Snapdragon 855. Xiaomi lovers can see the phone available in the market in May 2019 for around $700.

The Huawei Mate X:

Mate X has a foldable design which makes the phone an eye-catching thing. So much so that it makes things easy for the user.  The phone also has the honor to be one of the first 5G devices to get announced by the third-largest manufacturer of smartphones in the world. The 5G connects using Huawei’s Balong 5000 5G modem rather than Qualcomm models favored by the most devices on the list. Also, it is compatible with both mmWave and the sub-6GHz spectrum. Things that make Huawei Mate X one of the top phones is the month it will get released in and the price users can find it on. According to sources at Huawei, the phone will release on June 2019, for around $2,600

LG V50 THINQ:

The LG V50 ThinQ is a 5G variation of one of LG’s current phones. The phone is the V40 version. The V50 has a 5G logo glowing on the rear side of the phone. The outside of the phone, the 5G connectivity, there are some other differences between the V50 and the V40 version of the phone. One of the different things offered includes a larger battery of about 4,000mAh battery and a faster Snapdragon 855 processor as well. The phone might be a little bulkier for some people as it has to fit larger 5G antennas for the phone. Sources at LG say that V50 is going to get a release by the end of March. However, according to them, the release will come whenever the first carrier partner that is 5G networks gets prepared for it. The American audience will be available with Sprint. I wish I was able to stay more and explore about Time Warner internet and read about the phones myself.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G:

Samsung always wants to stay ahead when it comes to adopting new technologies. So, it is nothing to get surprised about if they are having a 5G handset to be in the market any time soon.  The Galaxy S10 5G got announced alongside the other S10 lineup. It has features a larger screen that is 6.7-inch display than the other devices that lie in the same range. Also, there is a large 4,500 mAh battery and an extra camera present on the front and the back for better AR performance. The model has a microSD card support. There is no specific release date for the phone until the first six months of 2019

The Alcatel 7 5G:

Alcatel is one of the brands known for budgeted handsets. Also, here is a 5G prototype for the phone. The Alcatel 7 has a 6.5-inch display the Snapdragon 855 processor, a 6GB RAM and 4,000 mAh battery.

The HTC 5G HUB:

This HTC’s debut 5G product came out as a hybrid of different devices including a 5G receiver. Users can also use Android entertainment device and more. Also, it also comes up with a battery pack. HTC 5G becomes a package of a form-factor that is same as a smart display. Users will be getting a 5G hotspot device that comes with a screen and a battery that is big enough to charge the internal devices. The connectivity agent is the Snapdragon X50 modem. The content is either displayed on the screen that is 5-inches or uses an external display over USB-C

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G:

The ZTE AXON’s 10 Pro 5G uses Snapdragon 855. The phone has a 6.47-inches screen with 6 GB RAM and 4,000 mAh battery. The display uses a coat of Corning Gorilla Glass on the top for added protection. The smartphone also runs using Android Pie 9.0 and uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It also has the Snapdragon X50 5G modem and AI Performance Engine. The device also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and offers 6GB RAM. The storage has 128 GB on the internal memory and gets expanded if you add up microSD card. All this and more is part of this brilliant phone.
