Google Sites – Google Adsense Gadget

google

You may have seen a previous post from us about how to use Google Adsense on your Google Sites using a custom gadget.

Well, this gadget has recently gone offline, probably due to the fact that using Google Adsense on any Google Site after October 2013 is against the terms of using Google Adsense. This means that if you were linking your Google Sites directly to the URL of the XML, then your Google Ads have probably now gone offline also.

Now, there is a way around this, however, as stated above, it is against the terms of using Google Adsense as you can see here:

Changes to AdSense on Google Sites – October 2013

So, if you choose to follow this guide and your Adsense gets blocked or site taken offline – do not blame us!

All you have to do is to download the XML file from the link below, host it on your own hosting and then re-link your gadgets to that XML. You should then follow the same instructions in the guide stated below (just using the XML as hosted on your own hosting, not directly linked) and this should work for you.
