We have recently been working on MD5 hash codes both in encrypting and decrypting the hashes.
So, we have now created a microsite with our work in progress so that our visitors can start to use it and we will work on making better over time.
But before we go any further, we know that there is actually no such thing as encryption or decryption of MD5 hashes, but it is a much simpler way to describe the process method so this is the terminology we shall use for this post!
You can visit our MD5 hash encryption and decryption microsite by clicking the link below:
MD5 Hash Encryption and Decryption Tool Microsite
VERSION LOG
This is the version 1.0 release of the microsite so things are not perfect yet. We have so far got the encryption working and you can now turn any letter, number, word or phrase into a MD5 hash using our microsite.
However, the decryption is much harder and so far we have managed to get to the point allowing you to turn a MD5 hash which is numeric up to 5 numbers long, back into the plain text digits.
Instructions for how to use the tool are available on the microsite.
