As most of you probably know by now, Google Earth Pro is now free to use for everyone. All you have to do is to install the software, enter a valid email address and enter the password as GEPFREE – this is great and a lot of people are now going ahead and using this.
However, what if you want to mass deploy it using Group Policy or put it into your SCCM Application Catalog? – as usual, the easiest way to do this is to have the MSI installer, so we have now got hold of the MSI installer for the latest version of Google Earth Pro and we are now making it available to our visitors.
We are in the process of setting up a new downloads microsite where you can download all of the files that we find (not our own custom built programs) meaning that there will be an archive of these files but also you can find them quickly and easily for future use rather than having to search for a blog post. We will post notifications on this site but then provide a link to our download archive. So, with that in mind, we have placed the Google Earth Pro v7.1.5 MSI Installer on our new microsite and it is the only thing there at the moment so should be very easy to find!
Go to our downloads archive by clicking the button below:
Full instructions are available for command lines to run this MSI installer silently or passively.
