It seems that Microsoft “released” Update 1 for Windows 8.1 yesterday but have since very quickly
removed it from their servers and Windows Update.
Whether this was a mistake by a Microsoft employee or simply a marketing PR ploy…who knows, but like everything on the internet, once its there, you can’t remove it!
So, you can now download the Windows 8.1 Update 1 and the guys over at MyDigitalLife forums have posted the links to get them although the official Microsoft ones have been removed the Mega download links still work.
